Many people are asking if the housing market will crash in 2022, if prices will drop, or if it’s still a good time to buy. Here’s our two cents!
It’s true that 2021 had record levels that have continued to rise into 2022. We do think the market will slow down some, but that’s a good thing, as inventory is beginning to slowly increase. We are still in a seller’s market. The number of offers coming in on individual properties, however, is less than it was at the beginning of 2022.
If you are wondering if it is still worth buying a home, the short answer is yes. Experts agree that owning a home is a smarter financial strategy than renting in many cases.
